Transgenic Mice

Generation of transgenic mice includes the following procedures:

Preparation of DNA for injection

Pronuclear injection of the DNA into mouse zygotes

Implantation of microinjected zygotes into pseudopregnant foster mice

Identification of integration positive pups using PCR and/or Southern analysis

Breeding to F1 generation or specific genetic backround
